What is Reece maX CMP?
Reece maX CMP (Competitive Market Pricing) will help your business stay aligned with Reece’s recommended selling prices. To learn more about how CMP works and whether it’s right for your business, contact your local Reece branch manager.
⚙️ What Does it Do?
✅ Automatically applies Reece CMP pricing to Reece maX items
✅ Works across Reece maX item sources (Add item feature[API] , Reece Catagolue [Punchout], and supplier invoices)
✅ All non-Reece items continue to use your standard markup settings (if enabled)
🔄 How to Enable CMP Pricing
Go to Company Settings > Features & Plug-ins
Scroll down to Reece maX (ANZ) and make sure it’s enabled
Click Settings
Toggle Enable CMP Pricing to ON
Click Save to apply your changes
Once enabled, all Reece-sourced items will reflect CMP pricing going forward.
📝 Important Notes About CMP Pricing:
CMP pricing only applies to items imported from Reece maX (ANZ).
If you have a default markup set in Company Settings > Estimates & Invoices > Advanced > Default Markup, it will still apply to all non-Reece items.
Reece items will always use CMP pricing when CMP is enabled — non-Reece items will continue to use your default markup.
CMP does not retroactively update existing items on estimates or invoices.
It will only apply to new Reece items added after CMP is enabled.
