If you need to block of time off during the day, or for several days, you can follow these steps to schedule your time off and share it with your team on FieldPulse. 

On the team schedule page, click the green 'Create job' button to create a new 'job'. You'll use this dummy job to book your time off. 

On the next page, first add your dummy 'Customer'; this should be created as a new customer to be used as a placeholder, with just a name (no other details are needed). I've called mine First Name: Booking, Last Name: Time off:

Next add a descriptive job title such as '<Employee name> out of office' and select the dates and times that they are booking off under 'Dates'.

Next click on the 'Team Members' box and select the team member who is booking the time off to assign them to the job.

Next add any notes that are needed.

Then click 'Save Job'.

You'll then see the time off booked on your schedule. Any manager with visibility to this team member will see it as well.

Pro Tip: If you are booking recurring time off (i.e. you take every Sunday off) you may find it handy to use the 'Recurring Jobs' feature for booking time off as well!
