Access to job reports and maintenance agreements depends on user permissions ยท **Availability:** All regions, and Custom Forms and Dynamic Proposals are add-ons ## Overview FieldPulse collects a customer's electronic signature in seven places: estimates and invoices, contracts, in-person estimate and invoice presentations, custom forms, job reports, maintenance agreements, and Dynamic Proposals. Each method saves the signed document on the record it came from, so your team never prints, scans, or re-uploads a signed copy. You choose the document, add a signature request or field, and the customer signs by drawing or typing their name. FieldPulse then saves the signed copy on the record. ### Estimates and invoices An estimate or invoice can carry a signature request on one record or on every record. To request a signature on one record, turn on **Include Signature Request** in the email window. To request a signature on every new estimate and invoice, an Admin turns on **Default Display Signature Button** in Preview Settings. The customer selects **Sign and Accept**, draws or types a signature, and selects **Add Signature**. No account or login is required, and the signed PDF appears under **Files** on the record. See [How to Request a Customer Signature](/estimates-invoices/options/customer-signature). ### Contracts A contract is reusable text, such as a service agreement or warranty, that an Admin creates once and attaches to estimates and invoices. Set a default contract and choose how many signature lines it carries. **Include Signature Request** turns on automatically when a contract is attached. See [Setting Up Contracts](/estimates-invoices/options/contracts). ### In-person estimates and invoices On the FieldPulse mobile app, if a contract is attached to your estimate or invoice, select **Present** on the estimate or invoice preview to show it to the customer and collect their signature on your device. See [How to Create an Estimate](/estimates-invoices/creating/estimate). ### Custom forms A custom form supports a **Signature** field, and you can require it for your team, your customer, or both. Select **Send to be Filled** to email the form to the customer, or fill it out on web or mobile with the customer present. The **Lock Dynamic Link once Signed** setting closes the public link after every signature is collected, and status automation moves the form to **Completed** when the customer signs. Select **Include Signature Request** when you send it, and the customer sees a **Sign and Accept** button above and below the job details. When the customer accepts with an e-signature, you receive an email and the contract status updates on the agreement. See [How to Create a Maintenance Agreement](/jobs/assets/maintenance-agreements). ### Dynamic Proposals Dynamic Proposals turn an estimate into a branded proposal and capture an electronic signature so the customer signs off on the spot. The signed PDF is saved there. See [How to Request a Customer Signature](/estimates-invoices/options/customer-signature). **Do I need a contract to collect a signature when I present an estimate or invoice in person?** Yes. Attach a contract to the estimate or invoice, then select **Present** on the preview in the mobile app. See [Setting Up Contracts](/estimates-invoices/options/contracts). **Can more than one person sign the same custom form?** Yes. Turn off **Lock Dynamic Link once Signed** so the public link stays open after the first signature.
