You build a "Zap" — an automated workflow where an event in one app triggers an action in another — to move data between [FieldPulse](https://www.fieldpulse.com/) and the tools your office already runs. See [FieldPulse integrations on Zapier](https://zapier.com/apps/fieldpulse/integrations) for the current app list. ## Overview A Zap is an automated connection between two apps made of a **trigger** (the event that starts it) and an **action** (what happens in response). With the FieldPulse Zapier integration, either side can be FieldPulse — a FieldPulse event can trigger an action in another app, or an event in another app can create or update records in FieldPulse. The workflow breakdown Zapier closes is double entry: a lead comes in on your website, a job is booked, an appointment is set — and someone has to retype it into the next tool.
