> ## Documentation Index > Fetch the complete documentation index at: https://help.fieldpulse.com/llms.txt > Use this file to discover all available pages before exploring further. # Maverick for Customers > Ask Maverick to find, create, and update customer records from a typed note, a call, or a PDF work order in the FieldPulse Webapp. > **Who uses this:** Admins, Team Managers, and Service Agents, based on each person's own FieldPulse permissions. **Availability:** FieldPulse Webapp. Use Maverick to find, create, and update customers in plain language. Describe a customer the way you'd tell a coworker. Every change shows up on a card for you to review, and nothing saves until you select Create or Save. For the basics, see [Maverick Overview](https://help.fieldpulse.com/maverick/basics/overview.md). ## Find “Show me the open jobs and unpaid invoices for Maria Reyes.”“A property manager emailed about this building. Do we have customer notes, and what work do we have coming up there?”“What changed on the Alvarez account this week, and who changed it?” Maverick follows your own FieldPulse permissions, so it only shows customers and records you can already reach. ## Create Create a customer from whatever you have. Type it, dictate it, paste it, or attach it. “New customer, Maria Reyes, 4518 Maple Street, 555-0142.” (Paste an email)“Create a customer from this email.” (Attach a PDF)“Create a customer from this work order.” Maverick fills a card with what it found, such as the name, phone, email, and address. The address becomes a Location on the map so your crew can navigate to it. Fix anything that's wrong, then select **Create**. To dictate during a call, use the microphone in the message box. Your words appear for you to review, and Maverick never sends on its own. Your browser needs microphone access. Add a location. “Add a new suite as a location under this customer.”“Add a new suite as a location under this customer and write a quote for it: permit, materials, and labor.” ## Update Edits cover customer details, contacts, Locations, notes, and comments. “Change the phone number on Maria Reyes to 555-0199.”“Add a second contact to the Alvarez account: Luis Alvarez, 555-0178.”“Add a note to the Alvarez account: dog in the backyard, knock before entering.” Maverick adds a new note to the end of the existing notes, so nothing already written gets overwritten. ## Report “How many new customers did we add last month?”“Where did my new customers come from last month?”“Which customers have an overdue invoice?” Use your own lead source names. Maverick counts the source you ask about and ranks the others underneath. Pin any report to your dashboard as a live widget, or save it in the **Reporting** tab. For more, see Maverick for Reporting. ## Help How-to questions. Ask “How do I merge duplicate customers?” and Maverick answers from the Help Center and opens the article it used. Customer notes. Select the sparkle button in a customer's notes field to fix grammar, make a note customer-friendly, or summarize the work. Copy, Replace, or Add the draft, then save as usual. A person. Ask to talk to support and Maverick connects you to a live rep in the same chat. ## FAQs **Can Maverick delete a customer?** No. Maverick doesn't delete records of any type.
