# Setting Up Wisetack Financing
> Turn on Wisetack in FieldPulse so residential customers can pay for a repair over time on your estimates and invoices while you get paid in full up front.
> **Who uses this:** Administrators turn on Wisetack in **Company Settings > Features & Plugins**. **Availability:** United States only; requires an approved Wisetack application.
Wisetack is a consumer financing provider that lets your residential customers pay over time for the work you do. Once Wisetack is enabled and approved, pay-over-time options appear on the [estimates and invoices](https://www.fieldpulse.com/features/estimates-and-invoices) you send from FieldPulse — your customer breaks the cost into monthly payments, and your business gets paid in full as soon as the job is done.
## Overview
Wisetack financing runs from \$500 to \$25,000 with a fast application and approval process, and checking options does not impact the customer's credit score. Your residential customer can finance an emergency repair when funds are tight or a large project without stalling on price, and your business gets paid in full up front.
Wisetack is integrated directly with FieldPulse, so customers apply for financing in seconds and your business never handles any of their sensitive information.

## Before you begin
Wisetack sets its own business eligibility requirements, and you complete a Wisetack application as part of turning the integration on. To qualify, your business needs:
* 1+ year in business
* \$150,000 or more in annual revenue
* 10 or more online reviews with an average of 4.5 stars
* To be located in the US
There is no implementation cost or subscription fee. Your business pays a 3.9% per-transaction fee when a customer completes financing with Wisetack.
## Step-by-step setup
1. Go to **Company Settings**.
2. Select **Features & Plugins**.
3. Under **FieldPulse Preferred Partners**, find the **Wisetack Consumer Financing** tile and select **Enable**.
4. In the prompt that opens, select the sign-up link and complete your Wisetack application.
Once your application is approved, you are ready to include financing options on your estimates and invoices.
## What your customer sees
Once Wisetack is enabled and approved, your estimates and invoices show a **See Loan Options** button. From there the customer experience is self-service.

| **Link a bank (optional)** | The customer can automate payments by linking their bank account through Plaid, a secure third-party platform. |
| **Accept the terms** | The customer reviews a financing summary, accepts the terms, and "signs" by entering the last four digits of their SSN. |
| **Release payment** | Once the service or product is received in full, the customer selects **Job is Done - Release Payment**. |
In the example below, the customer applied for an \$8,000 purchase and can pick from plans of 3, 6, or 12 months and longer.
After the customer releases payment, Wisetack pays your business in full and your customer begins paying over time. If the job is not complete, the customer can return to the application at a later date to confirm and release funds, and Wisetack sends both you and the customer a reminder by email. When the funds are on their way to you, Wisetack also contacts the customer about paying off their purchase in monthly installments and emails them instructions on where to make payments and how to set up auto-pay.
> **Financing disclosure:** All financing is subject to credit approval, and your terms may vary. Payment options through Wisetack are provided by its lending partners. For example, a \$1,200 purchase could cost \$104.89 a month for 12 months based on an 8.9% APR, or \$400 a month for 3 months based on a 0% APR.
