# Are estimate emails that are sent multiple times always grouped in a thread, or can they be sent as separate emails?

> Turn off conversation view in Gmail or Outlook so repeat estimate emails land separately instead of collapsing into one thread.

To change your email thread (or conversation view) settings so that each message appears as a separate email instead of being grouped into a thread, follow these steps based on your email provider:

**Gmail (Web):**

1. Open Gmail.

2. Click the **gear icon** in the top right corner and select **See all settings**.

3. Under the **General** tab, scroll to **Conversation View**.

4. Select **"Conversation view off"**.

5. Scroll to the bottom and click **Save Changes**.

**Outlook (Web - [Outlook.com](http://outlook.com/)):**

1. Open Outlook.

2. Click the **gear icon** in the top right.

3. In the search bar, type **“conversation view”**.

4. Choose **“Off”** under **Conversation view**.

**Outlook (Desktop App):**

1. Open Outlook.

2. Go to the **View** tab at the top.

3. Uncheck **Show as Conversations**.

4. Choose whether to apply it to just the current folder or all folders.

**Apple Mail (Mac):**

1. Open Mail.

2. Go to **Mail > Settings (or Preferences)**.

3. Under the **Viewing** tab, uncheck **“Include related messages”** or **“Organize by conversation”**, depending on your macOS version.
