Continue to stay productive no matter where you are! Whether you’re dealing with unpredictable internet connections or have your phone in Airplane Mode, this feature ensures that you can create, edit, and manage your estimates and invoices effortlessly.
When your internet connection becomes unstable or you activate Airplane Mode on your phone, FieldPulse will automatically detect this change and prompt you to switch to Offline Mode.
Any information you were entering on the current Estimate or Invoice draft will seamlessly transition into an Offline draft. You will be directed straight to the Offline Estimate or Invoice draft, allowing you to continue without any disruption to your workflow.
What You Can Do in Offline Mode for Estimates & Invoices
When you enter Offline Mode, here’s what you can do:
For Existing Online Records That Have Been Cached into Offline Mode
Cache and Access up to 600 total Estimates and Invoices: We understand the importance of having quick access to prior documentation because it provides essential context when you need it most. This ensures that you can make informed decisions and maintain consistency in your interactions with your customers. You can access Estimates and Invoices linked to related Customers, Jobs, or Projects while offline.
Access Cached Item List: You can search and utilize up to 10,000 cached line items from your recent history while drafting offline Estimates and Invoices.
View Payment Records on Invoices: When viewing an Invoice record, you can click on the Payments tab to see cached payments associated with that Invoice. While the payment records cannot be edited or opened, you will be able to view the following information: Customer Name, Payment Date, Payment ID, Payment Method, and Payment Amount.
Preview Your Work: You can preview your finalized Estimates and Invoices while offline. However, please note that you will not be able to collect payments until you regain internet connection.
Collect Signatures: Gather acceptance signatures while offline, which will be saved and synced once you're back online.
You will be able to generate a PDF of the Estimate or Invoice with the signature once you regain internet access.
Update the Status of Your Estimate and Invoice Records: Any updates you make will reflect on your records once you are back online.
Access Your Templates: You can access up to 100 Estimate templates and 100 Invoice templates.
If Starting a New Draft in Offline Mode
Create New Estimates and Invoices: You can create new Estimates and Invoices linked to related Customers, Jobs, or Projects while offline.
You will not be able to:
Preview Your Estimate
Convert Your Estimate Record to an Invoice
Collect Signatures
You will be able to perform these actions once you regain internet connection.
Search Functionality
Utilize the search function available in the list view for both Estimates and Invoices. This will allow you to easily find records based on:
Estimate/Invoice Title
Estimate/Invoice ID
Customer Name
