Supplier Chat

Introducing Supplier Chat: Your Direct Line to Thousands of Suppliers!

Updated over 2 weeks ago

This feature is currently available in Atlanta, Chicago, and Houston. If you're eager to use Supplier Chat, please contact us at support@fieldpulse.com

What if you could streamline your supplier communications and keep your entire team in the loop? Many businesses currently rely on texting or emailing suppliers, which can result in crucial messages being hidden from the rest of the team and scattered across various platforms. This makes it challenging to track discussions and maintain a clear record of interactions. Supplier Chat addresses this issue by providing a centralized communication platform for businesses in the United States where all conversations with suppliers are stored in one accessible location, ensuring that your entire team can easily track discussions and stay informed.

Use Supplier Chat to ask suppliers a variety of questions including but not limited to the following: inventory, pricing, order status, how to place an order, and more. Please note: While you can ask questions through the chat, purchase orders cannot be submitted directly through our system. For placing orders, please contact the supplier directly.

Begin Chatting

To initiate a chat with a supplier, click the truck icon from the navigation menu near the top right of your screen.

A chat window will now appear in the bottom right-hand corner of your screen. Before filling out any of the fields below, you will be able to view any existing chats you have.

Enter your zip code, desired mile radius, and industry to find a relevant supplier near you.

Once you send a message in the chat, it operates like a text thread. The truck icon shown above in the navigation menu at the top of your screen will indicate any unread messages specifically for you. If you read a message, it will still appear as unread for other users in the chat, similar to how group text messages function. Notifications will be sent to all users who participated in the chat, ensuring everyone stays informed. However, if you’ve been browsing and only reading through the threads without sending a message, you won’t receive any notifications.

Unread messages will be displayed like this:
