Syncing Made Easy for QuickBooks Desktop Users

Take advantage of the new Sync Status and Re-Sync buttons on Customer, Estimate, Invoice, and Item records.

The Sync Status button allows you to quickly check if your records are up-to-date, making troubleshooting easier. If you encounter any syncing issues, the Re-Sync button lets you initiate the syncing process again with just one click.

Engage: Mute Incoming Call Sounds on Web App

🚀 You Asked, We Listened:

admin users can now choose to mute incoming call sounds on the Web App while on an active call. This setting applies to all Engage users and phone lines within the company.

🔕 When the setting is ON:

  • Users on an active call will not hear ringing for new incoming calls.

  • Visual notifications for incoming calls will still appear on both the web and mobile app.

  • Calls will continue to show up in reporting and missed call lists.

Please note: Mobile users will still need to manually silence calls using their device volume controls.

Creating or Connecting Jobs from the Asset Record

To help streamline workflows, two additional actions are available on your asset records: Create Job and Connect Job.

  • Create Job: Opens the job creation page with the asset automatically linked to the job. If there’s a maintenance agreement linked to the asset, it will also be linked to the job.

  • Connect Job: Allows you to search and select an existing job. If a customer is selected, it will only search that customer’s jobs. Once selected, the asset and any linked maintenance agreement will automatically be connected to the job.

Link Existing Assets to Maintenance Agreements

You can now link an existing asset directly from the Asset tab on a Maintenance Agreement record, making it easier to manage your assets and agreements in one place.

QuickBooks Desktop: Tax Rate Sync Made Easy

Tax Rate Items from QuickBooks Desktop will now sync directly to FieldPulse as Line Items. This one-way sync guarantees that your tax rates remain consistent across all your estimates and invoices, eliminating the risk of errors.

Keep in mind that once a Tax Rate Item is synced to FieldPulse, it cannot be modified within the platform.

Default Customer Name Preference

Now you can easily customize how customer names appear on records, streamlining your workflow without changing your entire database. This feature will significantly benefit QuickBooks Online (QBO) and QuickBooks Desktop (QBD) users.

Pricebook: Default Grouping Visibility for Flat Rate Jobs

You can now set a default for grouping visibility within your Pricebook, making it easier than ever to manage your estimates and invoices. Plus, you have the flexibility to customize it for individual flat rate jobs as needed.

A helpful pop-up in the FieldPulse web app will prompt you to either update the default for future use or apply it to all existing jobs in your Pricebook. This means less time spent on manual adjustments and more time focusing on what matters—growing your business!
