User Commission Rates

We’ve made updates to our User-Level Commission Settings! Now, admin users can easily toggle commission eligibility for each team member, making it simpler than ever to customize how your team earns. This means more flexibility and a better way to motivate your crew!

You can choose between sticking with the default commission method set up in your Company Settings or going for a custom approach that fits each employee's unique performance.

Here’s what’s new:

  • Percentage of Gross Sales: Commission based on total sales revenue.

  • Percentage of Gross Margin: Commission calculated from the profit margin after costs.

  • Flat Dollar Amount: A fixed dollar amount for each invoice.

  • User Specific Commission Rate: Enter a numeric value to set the commission rate for each of your employees.

Commission Recipient on Estimates & Invoices

Keeping track of who earns commissions on each invoice just got a whole lot simpler! The Commission Recipient field is now available right below the Author field on your invoice records.

By default, this field will show the author of the invoice, but you can easily change it. Just use the dropdown menu to select any employee who’s eligible to earn a commission. This way, you’ll always know exactly who’s getting rewarded for their hard work on each job!

QuickBooks Class Field Now Included in

Estimate & Invoice Templates

If you use QuickBooks, the Class field must be manually selected for each Estimate and Invoice, which can lead to errors and frustration. If you do not make the correct selections, this can drastically impact your revenue routing.

To address this, we’ve added the ability to template the Class field selection for Estimate and Invoice records. You can now set the Class field in your templates, so it automatically fills in whenever you create a new Estimate or Invoice. This feature also applies to your Job templates, making it easier for technicians to draft documents in the field without worrying about accounting errors.

Add Material Lists to Your Job Templates

You can now create and manage Material Lists directly on Job Templates. This feature allows you to standardize materials for common jobs and automatically include them on any new jobs you create, ensuring consistency and saving time.
