FieldPulse offers three ways of bringing your existing records into your account: import the data yourself for free using our templates, sync it automatically from a connected accounting integration, or have one of our Data Engineers migrate it for you. The right choice depends on the type of data you're moving and how it's currently formatted.

Important Data migration Note:
While we have the ability to import the listed record types above, all data requires scoping first to confirm it’s compatible with the FieldPulse platform.
How to import your data
Option 1: Self-Import via FieldPulse — Free
Download one of our import templates, insert your data, and upload the file directly inside the FieldPulse Web App. For Company Settings, you'll fill out the template the same way and email it to our support team — we handle the upload from there.

Step 2 — Enter your data
Type your records into the template, or — if you have an export from your previous provider — copy each column over into the matching column on the FieldPulse sheet. Keep the column headers as they are so the importer can read your data.
Step 3 — Upload it in the Web App

Reach out to our team via chat or email us at support@fieldpulse.com. and let us know you’re interested in importing your Company Settings. We will work with you to fill out the import sheet before importing it for you.
Option 2: Accounting Integration
Connect QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, or Xero to FieldPulse and your Customers, Line Items, Estimates, Invoices, and Payments will sync over automatically. See our step-by-step accounting integration guides for setup instructions.
Option 3: Data Migration by a FieldPulse Data Engineer — Paid service
If you're moving from another platform and don't want to manage the import yourself, our Data Engineering team can migrate your data for you. Migrations typically run during onboarding and training.
Most migrations finish within 4–6 weeks. Once our engineers review a sample of your data, they'll give you an exact timeline.
